Why Guidestone?
The Global Methodist Church is committed to providing benefits that are aligned with our values and that enhance the well-being of it churches and employees — both now and in the future.
After careful review, the Global Methodist Church chose GuideStone Financial Resources (Dallas, Texas) as the denomination’s new retirement and insurance plan provider. GuideStone has been dedicated to providing and administering employee benefits for the Christian community since 1918. Their mission is to enhance the financial security of those who serve the Lord. GuideStone provides services to more than 200,000 members, 38,000 churches, and several hundred evangelical ministries.
We are excited about the services and solutions available to Global Methodist local churches, including:
- A retirement plan designed for faith-based organizations with advantages including competitive cost and administrative ease with access to industry-recognized faith-based investments;
- Quality health care coverage through nationwide networks and benefit-rich plans; and
- Essential coverages to round out your employee benefit needs such as life, dental, and accident and disability insurance.
The transition to Guidestone for the administration of retirement plans, health plans, and supplemental insurance services will be completed by July 1, 2024. Until that date, Wespath will continue to administer Global Methodist Church retirement plans, health plans, and supplemental insurance services.
