CONNECTIONAL FUNDING & CHURCH DONATIONS
Connectional Funding Requirements
Per the Book of Doctrines and Discipline, which you can read HERE, (¶449.4 and ¶449.5), each local church is required to remit connectional funding to the General Church and the Annual Conference. The amount paid is based on the church’s prior year’s operating income – not current income.
Calculating Your Connectional Funding
To assist in determining your church’s current year’s General Church connectional funding obligation, utilize our Calculation Form with Instructions by clicking the button below. For assistance with Annual Conference connectional funding, please contact your Annual Conference office directly.
Online Payments via Realm
The Global Methodist Church utilizes Realm as its secure online giving platform. This system offers a cost-effective and efficient method for churches to submit and manage connectional funding payments and other donations.
To begin using Realm:
1. Request an Account: Initiate the setup of your church’s Realm account by clicking the Account Request button.
2. Login: Once your account is established, access it via the Account Login button to manage payments and view giving history.

If you prefer to send connectional funding or church donations by mail:
Checks: Make payable to Global Methodist Church.
Connectional funding must include a Remittance Form: Include a completed General Church Connectional Funding Remittance Form, which you can access by clicking the button below.
- Church donations must be clearly marked: Use the Remittance Form or memo section of your check to indicate the fund name for church donations (e.g., “Church Planting”). The Remittance Form has a field to note church donations. To view the list of available funds, click the Online Payment button on the Individual Giving page. The dropdown menu labeled Funds will display all the funds currently accepting donations.
